HAINES ROAD GRIZZLIES

Busy Grizzly Bears

We have just spent several days on the Haines Road.  Many Grizzly Bears and lots of other wildlife--moose, lynx, muskrat, swans and others.  One morning we saw three bears and a lynx within ten minutes of leaving camp and a total of eleven bears by days end.  Most of the bears were grizzlies with the odd Black thrown in.

Friends or Relatives?  These two bears (this one and the one above seemed to be very good friends.  Although not looking alike at all, they ate and relaxed together.
