KENO CITY, YUKON

Just returned from a trip to the Keno area.  Hadn't been there in ten years or enjoyed photographing the old mining centre and wildlife along the way.

HAINES ROAD GRIZZLIES

Busy Grizzly Bears

We have just spent several days on the Haines Road.  Many Grizzly Bears and lots of other wildlife--moose, lynx, muskrat, swans and others.  One morning we saw three bears and a lynx within ten minutes of leaving camp and a total of eleven bears by days end.  Most of the bears were grizzlies with the odd Black thrown in.
