Blue Flags everywhere

Crows in Haines Alaska

Spent another few days in Haines.  Weather was good and bad.  The bears weren't around to be photographed,  only a couple of Sockeye in yet, so spent my time photographing the nesting crows.

Knew there were nests but didn't know how big the little ones would be.  Turns out they were almost full grown and could fly, but the adults were still feeding them.  Learned to tell which were the young ones by their whiter bills and blue eyes.  Older birds are all black.
