BLACK BEARS

On a recent drive I came across a mother Black Bear and two of the cutest tiny cubs.  One was brown and the other almost black.  They stayed around to be photographed but the lighting was less than great.

The following day was overcast.  I went back to try to find them but no luck.  I did find one other bear that stayed for a few shots.

There are Arctic Terns on the Yukon River at Whitehorse.  Apparently this doesn't happen every year.  They can be fun a challenging to photograph.

THINGS HAVE BEEN BUSY ART THE FOX DEN.  HAVE NOW SEEN THREE ADULTS, SO THERE MAY BE TWO LITTERS IN THE SAME DEN.  HAVE ALSO SEEN THE KITS WITH A DUCK AND A GOPHER, AS WELL AS SEVERAL GLOVES AND SHOES.
