CHILKOOT BEARS

Spent four great days in Haines Alaska. Sun shone on us every day. Had bears every day (mostly Lulu and her two kids), but others saw ten in one evening.

GREBES

I was watching two grebe nests for the biggist part of a month. Finally decided they should be about to hatch. Checked the first nest and there was nothing. Checked the second one and both adult and five chicks came out of the reeds and arrived right in front of me. Here are a few of my favorite shots.

BIRDS IN VICTORIA

I have just spent a couple of weeks in Victoria. With in a few days from thwe same time last. Spring is later there, as well as in Yukon. Attached are some of my favorite shots from this visit.
